Fall is my hands down busiest time of year. But, when I get a call for an Angel Session, I will do everything in my power to squeeze a session in. That's exactly what happened with Jager, Kona, and Bubbles.

The Smith family is a family of animal lovers. They are very active in the Iredell county rescue circles and have three adorable pups of their own...Ender, Princess and Magoo.
Ender is a sweet 8-year-old Doberman that loves her frisbee and a good game of fetch. She loves to run in her large backyard as well as look for bunnies and other tiny intruders. She also has the hobby of being super irresistible as seen here...
Princess is actually the little "queen" of the clan. She's a 9-year-old Chi with a few tricks up her sleeve...
Last but not least, there is Magoo. Although a little timid of strangers, Magoo warmed up quickly to my treats and tennis ball. :) This scruffy pup is well known for his bouncy run and it was on the "must-have" shot list! 
Our session took place on an absolutely spectacular evening with the lovely sun sparkling through the pine trees. I'm so lucky Ender invited me into his backyard to capture the gorgeousness!
Of course we had to get him playing with his favorite toys!
Usually the dogs my clients worry most about end up being the best models. Magoo was the classic example and ended up being the biggest camera ham! 
Tiny Princess tried to keep up with her brothers and did a little running after the ball. It didn't take long before she tired of the grass and was ready to get to solid land.

So you wanna know the real reason for this session?!? Well, this furry family is expecting their first baby of the 2-legged variety!!! Woohoo! The pups joined in for some cute pictures for the baby announcement. Everyone join in and leave them a big congrats!!! :)
It makes me so sad when people prejudge dogs like Sasha. Just because she's a Doberman and she could turn into Snoop Dogg at any moment doesn't mean she's dangerous. In fact, she's the biggest goofball with a huge personality! She made me laugh the whole session and really ended up working it out! Tyra would be so proud. Sasha, you are welcome back at any time (and feel free to bring Snoop)!
I mean, seriously. Doesn't Sasha look so threatening? Ha! Ha!
Sasha, thanks so much for all the laughs! You were a pleasure to photograph and you really ended up working it for the camera. I hope your mom enjoys the sneak peak!
